I was wandering past the Copthorn Hotel and noticed these two poor deceased shoes. I'm guessing the lady in question had a few pimms and was a little worse for wear. Oddly the shoe on the path was worse than the one on the road.

Felling Metro Death
These were spotted on Sunderland road, not far from Felling Metro, someone probably loved them until they didn't offer comfort after a night on the tiles.
